MARQUETTE, MI--   A Gwinn man is headed to court on criminal sexual conduct charges.

Tayler Schwechel, 18, is charged with two counts of second-degree CSC; accosting a child for immoral purposes; using a computer to commit a crime; and child sexually abusive material activity.

Schwechel was arrested November 1 following an investigation into a report he had exchanged inappropriate photos with a 12-year-old girl.  Officers say they possibly had a sexual relationship.

A probable cause hearing is set for Tuesday and a preliminary hearing for Monday in Marquette County District Court.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
