Heroin bust in Dickinson County

KINGSFORD, MI--    Two people have been arrested on heroin charges in Dickinson County. 

Yarodin Parker, 32, of Chicago and Desiree Martz, 20, of Kingsford were apprehended after an undercover investigation.  They’re charged with delivery of heroin and conspiracy to deliver heroin. 

The couple’s children were placed in the care of Child Protective Services. 

A preliminary hearing is set for December 28 in Dickinson County District Court.   

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
