Holiday Readings & Remembrances 2014

  Holiday Readings & Remembrances

Share your Memories

Every December, Public Radio 90 listeners share their favorite and most heartwarming holiday memories and stories on Holiday Readings & Remembrances. We’re treated to new stories, old favorites and even a little bit of song.

We count on listeners like you to help carry on the tradition each year.

So if you have a holiday story of your own that you’d like to share with other Public Radio 90 listeners during Holiday Readings & Remembrances we want to hear from you.

Send us an email at pr90@nmu.edu and Holiday Readings in the subject line. We’ll need your name, the town where you live, and your daytime phone number as well as brief description of the story you’d like to tell. We’ll contact you to schedule a time for you to come by our studios to record your remembrance.

Then be sure to tune in weekdays at 9:35am (right after The Writer’s Almanac) throughout December for Holiday Readings & Remembrances.

Hans Ahlström is the host of several programs including the daily musical variety show Weekday, the mostly straight ahead jazz show Night Studio, the self explanatory Blues Today, and the eclectic Sound Spectrum. You can also hear Hans as the local host of NPR's All Things Considered news magazine. He also helps manage Public Radio 90's web content, interviews local and visiting writers and artists, works with NMU student interns, and writes the occasional news story.
