Man injured in Wakefield Township snowmobile crash

WAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI--   A Wisconsin man is injured, after his snowmobile hit a logging truck in Gogebic County.

Troopers from the Wakefield Post say the accident happened around 1:40 Thursday afternoon on M-28 near Hopkins Road in Wakefield Township.

They say Jeff Schuelke, 57, of Lebanon, Wisconsin was crossing the highway and failed to yield to the westbound truck driven by Chad Miskovich, 41, of Wakefield.  The snowmobile ran into the drive wheels of the truck and spun away, ejecting Schuelke.

Schuelke was taken to Aspirus Grand View Hospital with unknown injuries.  He was cited for failure to yield, causing an accident.
