FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, MI--   Forsyth Township Police have arrested a fugitive wanted for home invasion.

Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. officers received information that Sean McNamara was in a Jeep by the Shoppette Party Store. McNamara was wanted on a felony charge of home invasion on a warrant issued last November. Township Police had asked for the public’s help in finding him, and had received several tips over the last several months.

McNamara is now lodged in the Marquette County Jail. Forsyth officers are thanking the public for its help in his apprehension.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
