Manistique man wanted in connection with attempted murder case found

MANISTIQUE, MI-- Michigan State Police have taken into custody a man wanted for questioning in the attempted homicide of a Schoolcraft County man.

Troopers from the Gladstone Post were sent last Wednesday evening to a home in Inwood Township on a report of a shooting. The victim was critically injured.

A warrant for assault with intent to murder was issued for Trevor Gault, 33. He and his girlfriend, 20-year-old Alyssa Arnold, left the area in a vehicle.

State Police from the Manistique Outpost located Gault and lodged him in the Schoolcraft County Jail. They were assisted by the 8^th District Hometown Security Team, the 7^th District Fugitive Team and the 8^th District Emergency Support Team.
