Marquette DDA inviting participants to Holiday Parade

MARQUETTE, MI--   Even though snow isn’t accumulating yet, the Marquette Downtown Development Authority is planning for its 9th annual “Winter Snow Fun” Holiday Parade.

The DDA is inviting local businesses, organizations, musicians and bands to enter a decorated float, vehicle or marching unit. The parade will take place December 6 at 6 p.m. on North Third Street. It will conclude at the Marquette Commons, where the city’s 44th annual tree lighting ceremony will be held.

Those interested in participating in the Holiday Parade can call the DDA at 228-9475 before November 25. Registration packets are also on the DDA website.
