MCHD offering in-home COVID vaccines for homebound residents

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette County Health Department is reaching out to homebound residents in an effort to get them COVID-19 vaccines.

MCHD is offering free, in-home Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine appointments to Marquette County residents who are unable to leave their home. It’s a one-shot series recommended for people 18 and older. Appointments will be offered on a weekly basis, per demand.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
