Michigan votes in presidential primary today

MARQUETTE, MI--   While it’s not called “Super Tuesday,” today is primary election day in Michigan.

Five other states are also holding presidential contests.

Former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Bernie Sanders have been stumping downstate in an effort to become the Democratic candidate to take on President Donald Trump in November. 

A few Upper Peninsula counties have millage proposals on today’s ballot.

Results will be posted on the Public Radio 90 website, wnmufm.org.

Polls close at 8 p.m. local time.
