Money available for nonprofit volunteer efforts

MARQUETTE, MI--   Nonprofit groups in Marquette County are invited to apply for program grants from a local endowment fund.  

The Marquette County Community Foundation and United Way of Marquette County are offering money through the George W. Romney Foundation.

Funds will go to programs that include volunteer projects or heighten awareness of and participation in volunteerism. 

Only 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations may apply.  The deadline for grant applications is July 25.
