MSP investigates unlicensed marijuana dispensary in Menominee

MENOMINEE, MI--   The Michigan State Police has served search warrants at Menominee businesses they say dispensed marijuana without a license.

The MSP Marihuana and Tobacco Investigation section executed two search warrants Wednesday at the Hush Lounge and related businesses. Troopers seized cash, records, narcotics, and guns.

At this time no arrests have been made. The case remains under investigation.

The State of Michigan requires all marijuana dispensaries to be licensed.  Funding for such investigations is paid for by licensing and regulatory fees.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team, the Eighth District Hometown Security Team, members of the Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team, and the Menominee City Police Department assisted in the case.
