Munising gets state development funding

MUNISING, MI--   The City of Munising is one of a group of Michigan communities to get funding from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.

The money from the Michigan Strategic Fund aims to boost development projects in order to generate millions of dollars in investment around the state.

Munising has been awarded $459,050 for the Pictured Rocks Interpretive Center project.

That and four other community development projects are expected to create nearly $14 million in total investment.
