NEGAUNEE, MI-- Officials have identified the individuals involved in a fatal crash in Negaunee Sunday.
City Police say just before 4 p.m. a van driven by Gerald Kippola, 69, of Ishpeming was eastbound on County Road. The van struck a Chevy Impala driven by William Tull, 29, of Negaunee head-on.
Kippola was taken to UPHS-Marquette for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Tull had to be extricated from his vehicle by the Negaunee Fire Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
