New COVID-19 cases continue to be confirmed in Upper Peninsula

MARQUETTE, MI--   Sixty-eight new coronavirus cases were added to the U.P. tally Tuesday.

The number per county is as follows:

  • Baraga-1
  • Delta-3
  • Dickinson-22
  • Gogebic-1
  • Houghton-7
  • Iron-6
  • Luce-4
  • Mackinac-8
  • Marquette-4
  • Menominee-11
  • Schoolcraft-1

One death was reported in Dickinson County and one in Iron County.
As of Tuesday afternoon a total of 2,930 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the Upper Peninsula. Forty-four people have died.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
