Police looking into Iron Mountain man's death

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--   The Iron Mountain Police Department is investigating the death of an 82-year-old man in the city. 

Officers were dispatched Sunday morning to a residence on the north side of Iron Mountain on a report the man was not breathing. They found him outside on his front walk.

Police say the man had been deceased for several hours before he was discovered. Officials don’t know if he died from natural causes or from exposure. No foul play is suspected.

The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.

No further information will be released at this time.
