Police need help with theft from seasonal cabin in eastern U.P.

PARADISE, MI--   Michigan State Police at the Sault Ste. Marie Post want the public’s help in solving a breaking and entering case in Paradise. 

On August 10th of last year someone entered a seasonal cabin on Vermillion Road by forcing the front door open. The suspect or suspects also got into a shed by removing an external wall.

Stolen from the two buildings were a chainsaw, car batteries, a toolbox, tools, flashing and other miscellaneous items.

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call the Sault Ste. Marie Post at 632-2217.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
