Robbery suspects to be sentenced

MARQUETTE, MI--   A sentencing date has been set for two suspects arrested for armed robbery in Marquette.

Daniel Ayotte, 21, pleaded guilty Friday to larceny from a person.  Bobbie Joe Weymouth, 21, pleaded guilty to unarmed robbery.  He also pleaded guilty to manufacture or possession of components to make meth in connection with another case. 

Ayotte and Weymouth are two of four suspects who allegedly entered a residence on the 500 block of N. Fourth Street in March and robbed the occupants at gunpoint.

Sentencing will be held July 29.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
