Rock River Township accident kills Munising driver

Troopers from the Negaunee Post were dispatched Friday around 1:10 p.m. to M-67 and Cold Springs Road in Rock River Township. They say a Ford Taurus driven by Patricia Walther, 80, of Munising pulled out in front of a Ford F-150 pickup driven by Robert Lindbeck, 52, of Munising.

Walther was taken to UPHS-Marquette, where she was later pronounced dead.

Lindbeck was not injured.

Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash.
