Semi crashes in Sagola Township

SAGOLA TOWNSHIP, MI--   A semi rolled over on M-95 Saturday morning.

Michigan State Police from the Iron Mountain Post say the accident happened around 7:30 a.m. near Johnson Lane in Sagola Township. A semi driven by a 26-year-old Texas man left the roadway and entered the ditch. The truck was top-heavy and overturned.

The driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. M-95 was shut down for about 30 minutes while officials towed the semi back onto the road and cleaned up debris.

The Department of Natural Resources, Sagola Fire Department and Sagola EMS assisted at the scene.
