Senator Stabenow in Marquette County

MARQUETTE, MI--   U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow will make a stop in Gwinn before she gives the keynote address at Northern Michigan University’s graduation ceremony this weekend.

The Senator is scheduled to visit the Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center Friday at 1:45 p.m. It’s part of her “health care check-ins” around the state to speak with Michigan patients and providers about their challenges and needs.

Saturday Stabenow will address NMU graduates during Spring Commencement.

The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Superior Dome. It will be broadcast live on WNMU-TV and streamed online at nmu.edu/commencement.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
