ESCANABA, MI-- The Delta County Airport is hosting a two-day skydiving event this week.
Airport manager TJ Reed says it will be the first event to kick off what he hopes will be an annual occurrence. He says officials are working to revitalize Aviation Day at the airport. Reed is anticipating bringing back static aircraft displays and spot landing and flower drop competitions.
The skydiving takes place Thursday and Friday at M&M Aviation on Airport Road in Escanaba.
