NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP, MI-- A Gwinn man was injured in a tank truck rollover accident in Negaunee Township Thursday.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at 10:55 a.m. on County Road 510 near Hardwood Lane. Deputies say a 26-year-old Gwinn man was driving the tank truck northbound on 510. He stated he rounded a corner and saw an oncoming vehicle in his lane, so he swerved. The truck hit a guardrail and rolled over onto its side in the ditch.
The driver sought his own medical treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
