Three vehicles crash on US-41 in Chocolay Township

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, MI--   Weather is being blamed for a three-vehicle accident in Chocolay Township Monday morning.

Township Police say a vehicle equipped with a plow was northbound on US-41 near Surrey Lane when it crossed the centerline and struck a southbound vehicle. The southbound vehicle then collided with a third, northbound vehicle.

The driver of the third vehicle was taken to UPHS-Marquette with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials believe snowy and slippery weather conditions contributed to the crash.

No citations were issued.
