BREITUNG TOWNSHIP, MI-- A Breitung Township man has been killed in a tractor accident.
Saturday around noon Michigan State Police were dispatched to a residence on Pine Mountain Road on a report a tractor had rolled over. Troopers say Benie Borkowski, 76, was trying to pull out a downed tree that was wedged in another tree when the tractor flipped backwards onto him.
A neighbor helped pull the tractor off Borkowski, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
