Traffic flow at Marquette Township roundabout changing Monday

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, MI--   The traffic configuration at the Marquette Township roundabout construction project is set to change on Monday.

Traffic at the County Road 492/US-41 intersection will shift to the north side of the highway using the north side of the new roundabout. The west entrance to Walmart will be restricted to in only. Traffic will exit Walmart at the east drive.

A similar shift will take place at the Brickyard Road/US-41 intersection on Tuesday, September 24. Highway traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction at Brickyard Road.

South Brickyard road is currently closed. Access to Best Buy is via a temporary access road.

During this phase of construction, work will continue on the south side of the highway and the south half of the new multi-use tunnel. The new traffic configuration is expected to stay in place until late October.
