UPDATE: Kingsford man's body found

UPDATE, 6/9, 9:20 am:  Kingsford Public Safety officers confirmed Tuesday morning that the body recovered Monday evening from the Menominee River is that of Brian Bush of Kingsford.

Bush, 32, has been missing since June 3.  He was last seen at Menominee River Park.

Authorities say an autopsy is planned to determine the cause of death.

UPDATE, 6/9:  Police say they may have found the body of a missing Kingsford man. 

Authorities discovered the body Monday in the Menominee River.  They’re awaiting positive identification.

Brian Bush, 32, has been missing since June 3.  He was last seen at Menominee River Park. 

A State Police dive team was activated Saturday.  Officials have also been searching on land.

KINGSFORD, MI--   Police are looking for a missing Kingsford man. 

Brian Michael Bush, 32, was last seen at Menominee River Park last Wednesday afternoon. 

Kingsford Public Safety is looking for the driver of a van towing a boat, in an image captured by a security camera.  Officers say the driver may have picked up a remote-controlled boat Bush was using on the day he disappeared.  Police want to know where it was found.

Anyone with information regarding the driver of the van or Bush’s whereabouts is asked to call Kingsford Public Safety at 906-774-2525.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
