UPDATE: Police searching for missing girl in the Keweenaw

UPDATE, 9:30 am:  The Laurium Village Police Department says Weber has been found alive and safe and is with family at this time.

CALUMET TOWNSHIP, MI--    A 14-year-old Calumet Township girl has been reported missing by the Michigan State Police. 

An Endangered Missing Advisory has been issued for Kayann Dee Weber, who was last seen Thursday at school. Neither friends nor family have seen her since.

Weber is described at 5’7” and 120 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing gray and pink Adidas sneakers and was carrying a teal and black backpack. She may be wearing glasses.

Anyone with information regarding Weber’s whereabouts is asked to dial 911 or call the Laurium Police Department at 337-4000.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
