MARQUETTE, MI--   The Upper Peninsula Environmental Coalition is holding a virtual discussion about Enbridge’s plan to put its Line 5 pipeline in a tunnel under the Straits of Mackinac.

The event will feature a retired wildlife biologist from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and an environmental coordinator for the Chippewa Ottawa Resource Authority. Topics include the regulatory path Enbridge must take to get tunnel approval and tribal efforts to shut down Line 5.

The discussion takes place Tuesday at 6 p.m. Eastern on Facebook, YouTube and Zoom.
