Vaccination preregistration at MCHD expands to nearly everyone Friday

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette County Health Department is expanding its preregistration process to include anyone 16 and older starting Friday, March 12.

Last week the health department opened preregistration to those 50 and older with preexisting conditions and families caring for children with special health needs. Officials say in an effort to be as prepared as possible for expanding vaccine priorities they’ll start preregistration for anyone 16 and older beginning at 10 a.m. Staff will continue to focus on scheduling vaccinations for previously approved priority groups. But they say expanding registration will allow the health department to provide vaccinations to the community with minimal delay.

The preregistration link will be posted at www.mqthealth.org. Once vaccine is available an email will be sent to the registrant so they can pick an appointment time.

For help with preregistration call 906-475-7847.
