Vanhaecke sentenced for B&E

HOUGHTON, MI--   A Houghton County man accused of breaking into a Duncan Township camp this summer and stealing items has been sentenced.

Camiel Vanhaecke, 49, of South Range was charged with second-degree home invasion and possession of burglar’s tools.  He was given two to 22 years in prison. 

Vanhaecke is also a person of interest in the April disappearance of Leah Harding of South Range, his girlfriend at the time.
