Warming shelters opened for residents without power

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette County Emergency Management Office and American Red Cross have set up two warming shelters due to power outages caused by freezing rain and downed trees.

The locations are as follows:

Chocolay Township Fire Hall (Red Cross will be there overnight)

5010 US-41

Marquette

Ishpeming Township Hall (Fire Volunteers will be there until 9 p.m.)

1575 US-41

Ishpeming
