Washington suspect arrested in Marquette child sexual abuse case

MARQUETTE, MI--   A former Marquette resident has been arrested in Washington State on numerous charges related to child pornography.  

After a lengthy investigation by the Marquette Police Department, 26-year-old Dylan Reaksecker was charged by the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office with child sexually abusive activity, distributing or promoting child sexually abusive activity, possession of child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime.

Authorities in Washington arrested Reaksecker. He was transported to Marquette via the U.S. Marshall Service and the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office. He remains lodged at the Marquette County Jail.

The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit and Thurston County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
