Website created for Escanaba boy's medical expenses

ESCANABA, MI--   A website has been set up to collect donations for an Escanaba boy who was hit by a car.

Tuesday evening Peter Frank, 14, was hiding in a pile of leaves next to a curb when he was run over by a car driven by a 17-year-old boy.  Frank was airlifted to UP Health System Marquette with serious injuries.

A family friend has set up the information and donation website www.prayforpeter.net as Frank recovers.

Frank’s father says the family holds no ill will against the driver of the car who hit his son.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
