Public Radio 90 will be off the air for a few hours Friday as back-up power sources are installed at our main transmitter site. The transmitter will be shut down at 10:00 a.m. and should be back on by 2:00 p.m.
The outage will affect listeners who use conventional FM radios. But listeners can still tune in to Charter Cable channel 20, listen online at www.wnmufm.org, and access Public Radio apps on their mobile phones.
The new equipment will ensure Public Radio 90’s over-the-air broadcast is more dependable.
We appreciate your patience.
