Woman involved in Michigamme accident arrested at hospital

MARQUETTE, MI--   An Iowa woman injured in a rollover crash last week is jailed on drug charges. 

Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post say Jessica Jamison, 33, of Winterset was treated at Marquette General Hospital following the accident last Friday morning in Michigamme Township.  Officers then arrested her for possession of meth, possession of ecstasy, weapons-felony firearms, weapons-firearms possession, and operating while intoxicated.

Jamison remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a $200,000 cash bond. 

A preliminary hearing is set for April 14. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
