COLEMAN, WI--   The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in the armed robbery of a Coleman, Wisconsin grocery store.

Deputies were dispatched Saturday around 6:15 p.m. to the Piggly Wiggly. Witnesses say a white man wearing a long sleeve shirt, dark pants, grey shoes and a Milwaukee Brewers hat threatened a clerk with a gun and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone with information regarding the crime is asked to call the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office at 715-732-7627.

Landmark Inn robbed

MARQUETTE, MI--   Marquette City Police are investigating a robbery at the Landmark Inn Thursday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the hotel around 4:30 a.m. They say a suspect wearing a partial black mask and sunglasses left the Landmark with an undisclosed amount of cash. He reportedly had a firearm in his waistband.

The suspect is described as a thin man, approximately 5'6" to 5'8" tall. He was wearing a gray Hilfiger hoodie and tan and gray flannel pajama-type pants. 

NEGAUNEE, MI--   An Ishpeming Township man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of Irontown Pasties in Negaunee.

Patrick Earl Fisher, 37, is accused of entering the restaurant Tuesday evening, brandishing a handgun, and fleeing the scene with money from the register. He was identified and taken into custody early Wednesday morning at an Ishpeming Township residence.

Fisher is charged with one count of armed robbery. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.

NEGAUNEE, MI--   Negaunee Police are investigating an armed robbery at Irontown Pasties.

They say Tuesday around 9:48 p.m. a masked male suspect entered the restaurant, which was occupied by a lone female employee. He brandished a handgun and demanded money from the register. The suspect fled on foot with approximately $475.

A description given by the employee and video surveillance from the restaurant led to identification of a suspect. He was found at an Ishpeming residence and taken into custody around 2:13 Wednesday morning.

GOGEBIC COUNTY, MI--   The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office has arrested five people in connection with a home invasion and armed robbery in Marenisco Township last year. 

It happened December 18 at a residence on East Shore Road. The suspects took money and guns.

Todd Norton, 47, of New London, Wisconsin is lodged in the Gogebic County Jail for armed robbery, 1st-degree home invasion, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, felony firearms and possession of a firearm by a felon.

STEPHENSON, MI--   A suspect in a Stephenson bank robbery is in custody in Marinette, Wisconsin.

Saturday around 11 a.m. troopers from the Gladstone Post were dispatched to mBank on a report of an armed robbery.

A joint investigation with the FBI Marquette office resulted in the identification of a suspect. He was located and arrested shortly before midnight in the city of Marinette, then lodged in the county jail pending extradition.

MARQUETTE, MI--   An Escanaba man accused of armed robbery in Chocolay Township has been sentenced.

Jaccob Jones, 18, was charged with four counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery. He and two codefendants were arrested in connection with the August 16 incidents.

Two of the men threatened a clerk at America’s Best Value Inn with a knife and demanded money. They allegedly fled to Kassel’s Korner gas station and robbed people there.

Jones was sentenced Friday to five to 15 years in prison with credit for 304 days already served.

ESCANABA, MI--   Three men charged in two Chocolay Township robberies have been arraigned on similar charges in Delta County.

Tristen Snow, Jaccob Jones, and Jordan Steinhausen are suspects in the robbery of the Escanaba Quality Inn and Suites on August 15.  Snow and Steinhausen are both charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.  Jones is charged with aiding and abetting an armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

ESCANABA, MI--   Formal charges have been filed for three people suspected of armed robbery in Escanaba in August. 

The Escanaba Department of Public Safety says Tristen Snow, Jaccob Jones, and Jordan Steinhausen, all of Escanaba, are suspects in the robbery of the Quality Inn and Suites on August 15.  The three were arrested on multiple-count felony warrants related to armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. 

MARQUETTE, MI--   Two suspects possibly linked to an Escanaba hotel robbery are jailed in Marquette.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of robberies that began around 6:15 a.m. 

Tuesday in Chocolay Township.  Two men dressed in black clothing and masks entered America’s Best Value Inn on M-28 and demanded money at knife point.  The clerk, a licensed concealed pistol permit holder, refused and pointed his gun at the suspects.  The men fled on foot to a waiting vehicle, which drove south on US-41.
