Enjoy the sounds of Sisu, at piano!  Craig Randal Johnson performs Piano Music of Finland, celebrating 100 years of Finnish Independence, from March 14, 2017.  Then, enjoy the music of the NMU Music Faculty with Violinist Barbara Rhyneer, and Harpist Nancy Redfern, performing music of Bach, O’Carolan and more.

“Chant and Praise” is the theme of the NMU Choirs & NMU Orchestra concert from April 2019, where each ensemble is featured and then combined for their final piece.  Then, join the Marquette Choral Society for their Russian Nights concert (also from April 2019), featuring Rachmaninoff’s All Night Vigil and more.

The Northern Michigan University Orchestra will perform a Children's Concert for free Wednesday, February 27th at 6pm.  The program is ideal for all ages, but especially catered to children with an exciting program and demonstrations of instruments of the orchestra.

Selections include music from the motion pictures Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Gladiator, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
