SAULT STE. MARIE, MI--   A Chippewa County poacher must pay fines and can never hunt again.

Kurt Duncan, 56, of Pickford pleaded guilty in September to seven poaching crimes following an investigation by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Charges included three counts of illegal take, possession of wolves; three counts of illegal take, possession of bald eagles; and one count of illegal commercialization of a protected species-wolf.

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI--   A Chippewa County man has been arraigned on 125 misdemeanor wildlife charges, following a months-long investigation by the Department of Natural Resources.

Kurt Duncan, 56, of Pickford was arrested for illegally harvesting 18 wolves over the past 18 months and killing and disposing of three bald eagles.
