Michigan Veteran Homes Publishes Wish List for Veteran Members Ahead of Holiday Season
LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Veteran Homes has published a wish list for each Home highlighting much-needed items to support veteran members this holiday season.
The D.J. Jacobetti Veterans Home is seeking monetary donations to support a fund used to improve the quality of life for members. Monetary donations can be made online or by check. The Home is also seeking in-kind donations such as new seasonal clothing, personal care items, Forever stamps and portable CD players. Michigan Veteran Homes (MVH) is the entity that provides day-to-day operational oversight of the state ’s veteran homes on behalf of the Michigan Veterans Facility Authority (MVFA) and is a branch of the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA). The MVH runs homes in Marquette, Grand Rapids and Chesterfield Township.
