LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Veteran Homes has published a wish list for each Home highlighting much-needed items to support veteran members this holiday season.
The D.J. Jacobetti Veterans Home is seeking monetary donations to support a fund used to improve the quality of life for members. Monetary donations can be made online or by check. The Home is also seeking in-kind donations such as new seasonal clothing, personal care items, Forever stamps and portable CD players. These items can be brought to the main entrance of the Home by appointment. Visit our website at wnmufm.org for contact information.
Michigan Veteran Homes (MVH) is the entity that provides day-to-day operational oversight of the state ’s veteran homes on behalf of the Michigan Veterans Facility Authority (MVFA) and is a branch of the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA). The MVH runs homes in Marquette, Grand Rapids and Chesterfield Township.
