MARQUETTE, MI— Michigan Veteran Homes is holding a meet and greet to talk about plans for the new veterans home being built in Marquette Township.
MVH entered into an agreement with a private seller in June for more than 38 acres of land. It’s south of Marquette Cinemas and east of Wright Street.
Those interested in learning more about the replacement for the D.J. Jacobetti Veterans Home are encouraged to attend and meet with MVH leadership. All are invited.
The event takes place Tuesday, July 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ore Dock Brewing Company in Marquette.
