GREEN BAY, WI (AP)-- Wisconsin transportation officials say ongoing road work should not significantly affect those traveling to Green Bay on Sunday for the Packers home opener.
However, the state Department of Transportation is reminding fans that construction season is ongoing so those traveling to Green Bay for the game should allow additional time.
There is ongoing work on U.S. 41 near Green Bay, including a reduction of the lane width for a 10-mile stretch south of Grant Street to Interstate 43. The speed limit along that stretch is reduced to 55 mph.
Likewise, the speed limit is lowered to 55 mph on I-43 between Atkinson Drive and U.S. 41.
