UPDATE: M-28 closes due to weather

UPDATE, 2/29/16:  M-28 is reopen to normal traffic as of 5:30 p.m.

MARQUETTE, MI--   Michigan State Police are closing M-28 between Munising and Kawbawgam Road in 

Chocolay Township.  The closure will begin at 10:30 am today due to white-out conditions along Lake Superior. 

The alternate route is M-94 between Munising and Skandia Township.
