Food distribution being held in Gwinn

GWINN, MI--   A mobile food pantry is making a stop in Gwinn Friday.

Feeding America West Michigan says the truck will contain 15,000 pounds of fresh produce, dairy, and baked goods—enough to feed about 300 families.

Officials say the mobile pantry is intended for people in need.  Recipients aren’t required to show proof of income, but they will be asked to sign a statement affirming they’re in need of food assistance.

Distribution begins at 10 a.m. Friday, April 22 at Victory Lutheran Church on Explorer Street in Gwinn.
