Negaunee Post to hold open house

NEGAUNEE, MI--   The Michigan State Police Post complex in Negaunee is hosting an open house Wednesday.

Troopers, Marquette County Central Dispatch, and the Negaunee Regional Communication Center are inviting the public to tour the facilities. Trooper Stacey Rasanen says residents can see the equipment they use on a daily basis, and officers will be available to answer home security and general safety questions.

Also present at the open house will be the State Police Crime Lab, Emergency Support Team, Marquette County Search and Rescue Team, a K-9 handler, and an extrication truck.

The open house runs Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Negaunee Post.
