Menominee road work slated for Sunday

MENOMINEE, MI--   Drivers in Menominee will have to deal with a road closure starting Sunday.

The northbound lanes of US-41 from Dunkin Donuts to the Nicolet Bank will be shut down late Sunday for emergency road repair work. Officials say the closure is necessary to repair sinkholes that have developed due to leaks in the sanitary sewer system and the deterioration of manholes.

One lane will be open in each direction via a traffic shift.

The work is expected to be done by Thursday.
