No injuries reported in Marquette house fire

MARQUETTE, MI--   Fire has heavily damaged a house in Marquette. 

The City Fire Department was dispatched Thursday around 7:40 a.m. to 1900 Clark Street and found smoke and flames coming from the front of the house. Firefighters discovered a large fire in both attic areas of the home.

It took personnel two hours to extinguish the fire.

All occupants of the house were able to evacuate without injury. They’re being assisted by the Pigs-n-Heat Fire Relief Fund.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
