Three-vehicle accident in Chocolay Township

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, MI--   Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Chocolay Township Tuesday.

Police say around 10:30 a.m. a vehicle had stopped on M-28 near Lakewood Lane to turn into a driveway when it was rear-ended by a delivery van. The impact pushed the first vehicle into the oncoming lane, where it hit a westbound vehicle.

The driver and passenger of the first vehicle were taken to UPHS Marquette with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The driver of the van was cited for speeding.
