Alcohol may be involved in Escanaba gun death

ESCANABA, MI--   Foul play does not appear to be involved in the shooting death of an Escanaba man.

That’s according to officers from the Escanaba Department of Public Safety. In the early morning hours of October 26 officers were dispatched to an apartment on the

400 block of South 14th Street. They found a man with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

Police say alcohol may be a contributing factor in the man’s death.

They say additional interviews are being conducted to aid in the conclusion of the investigation.
