MARQUETTE COUNTY, MI— Several injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash in Marquette County Sunday.
It happened around 6 p.m. on County Road 545 N near Heidtman Road.
A 36-year-old man and his 6-year-old son were exiting a driveway in a Chevy Tahoe when a southbound Hyundai crossed the centerline and hit the Chevy.
Two male subjects in the Hyundai fled the scene. One—believed to be the driver—wasn’t found. A woman and the other male sustained minor injuries.
The child in the Chevy sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to UPHS-Marquette for treatment.
Investigation of the crash is ongoing.
