Visiting poet Jonathan Johnson talks about writing, coming home and Sasquatches

Marquette native Jonathan Johnson returns to Northern Michigan University, his alma mater, to give a

public reading.  It will be held Thursday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Erie Room of the University Center.

He took a moment out of his busy schedule to speak with WNMU News Director Nicole Walton and debut a new poem.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
